Barry Harbour, South Wales
Anchorman Charters operates out off Barry Harbour for most of the year during the warmer months when the best fishing to be had is west down the bristol channel, the excellent fishing areas of Aberthaw, Stout Point and Nash are accessible within 1/2 hour: Less travelling time = More fishing time, whereas boats from Penarth have to travel that much further.
These guys do a great job Barry Coastguard Search and Rescue Team, another good mention is Barry Yacht Club, the club was first formed in 1928.

The Port of Barry is on the north shore of the Severn Estuary, also known as the Bristol Channel, nine miles to the west of Cardiff.
Interesting Facts: Barry was once the largest coal exporting port in the world, in 1913 over 11 million tons of coal was exported from Barry Docks, a record that has never been beaten. The docks can handle vessels up to 23,000 tons with a first-class tidal position close to the deep-water channel of the Severn Estuary.
Barry Harbour and Barry Docks is owned and managed by ABP Ports
Nearby is one of the biggest suppliers of hot tubs in the Wales and the UK Aqua Spas Hot Tubs . Only problem is Jules the owner of the company is totally crap at fishing ;) but theres nothing better than jumping in a hot tub after a long days fishing :)
